Australian Medical Oncologist Workforce Study 2009

MOGA undertook the Australian Medical Oncologist Workforce Study in 2009 to address both short term and long term Australian medical oncology workforce issues and strategies.

The study was completed in March 2010.in its planning phase having just appointed a Project Officer to the Workforce Study, the MOGA Secretariat appointed Nora Wong to this position. Since her appointment, the Project has been scoped with clear next steps and actions. The Workforce Study aimed to develop actionable and significant evidence-based findings to be used in professional and consumer lobbying and advocacy activities to address the significant shortage of oncologist in Australia.
